Auburn, Loomis, Granite Bay CA:
- Amber Oaks Berry Farm (Auburn) – A u‑pick farm offering more than 100 crops, including pumpkins in late summer and fall. Families can pick berries, tomatoes **and pumpkins** by appointment
- Flower Farm Pumpkin Patch (Loomis) – Pick pumpkins and gourds, climb the haystack pyramid and stroll the whimsical “Pumpkin People” tour. Weekend face painting and crafts. Open Oct 1 – 31 (closed Tuesdays); hours Mon–Fri 10 am – 4 pm, Sat–Sun 9 am – 4 pm
- Little Field Farms (Loomis) – Historic farm with a four‑acre u‑pick patch, two‑acre corn maze, pumpkin launcher, tractor‑pulled hayrides and horse‑drawn hay wagon rides. Open daily Sept 20 – Oct 31, 10 am – 5 pm
- Horton Iris Garden & Pumpkin Patch (Loomis) – Pick your pumpkin right from the field at this iris farm turned pumpkin patch. Open Fridays–Sundays in October, 10 am – 5 pm
- Solstice Farms – “Pumpkin Patch After Dark” (Loomis) – Evening‑only experience with fire‑pit tables, cotton candy, popcorn, corn‑hole games and a pumpkin‑carving station. Free entry; reservations available for private fire‑pit tables. Open Thursday–Sunday evenings starting Oct 3, 5 pm – 9 pm
- Rickey Ranch Vineyards & Pumpkin Farm (Granite Bay) – Pre‑picked pumpkins, kiddie corn maze, hay rides, pony rides, face painting and a petting zoo. Open daily in October from 10 am until dark
Grass Valley, CA:
- Bierwagen’s Donner Trail Fruit & Pumpkin Patch (Grass Valley) – Weekends in October feature horse‑drawn wagon rides, corn maze, children’s play area, farm animals, picnic area and snack shack. Free admission and parking
- The Haunted Pumpkin Patch (Grass Valley) – Purchase pumpkins by day and brave the haunted house and maze starting Oct 19. Pumpkins available Oct 1 – 31; haunted attraction open nightly during Halloween week.
Surrounding Areas:
- Cool Patch Pumpkins (Dixon, worth the drive) – Home of the world‑record corn maze and a large u‑pick pumpkin patch with hayrides, hay castle, corn bath and weekend concessions. Open daily Sept – Oct, 9 am – 8 pm (weather permitting)
